Once the strategy has been defined, we will immediately proceed with the registration of your company. The entire process takes place online, with no travel or complicated bureaucracy. Once this important step is completed, you will receive the official documents and the operating license that will allow you to start working and open a bank account in the company’s name. Another important and essential document you will receive is the agreement relating to the registered office.

If required, once the license is active we will arrange the paperwork for your residence permit, starting with the issuance of an entry visa. With your residency documents, you will be able to open a personal multi-currency account (EUR, AED, USD) at any local bank, with a debit card, credit card, and checkbook.

The Benefits

Dubai tax comparison for entrepreneurs

Zero Tax on Personal and Corporate Income

The United Arab Emirates represent one of the few jurisdictions in the world that offer taxation at 0% on both personal and corporate income (except for specific cases such as companies subject to Corporate Tax on profits above certain thresholds).

This means being able to retain your profits in full and reinvest them in the growth of your business or in your personal life, in full compliance with the applicable laws.

Why should you open your company and relocate?

all the benefits you will get

Fast and Streamlined Procedures

Setting up a company in Dubai is an extremely fast and digitalized process. In as little as 72 working hours, it is possible to obtain the operating license, without lengthy bureaucratic procedures. Everything can be handled remotely, with electronic signatures and documents sent by email, ensuring efficiency and saving time.

VAT Only if Necessary

VAT at 5% is not automatically applied to all activities: it is introduced only if the company exceeds certain turnover thresholds or if you voluntarily decide to register. This allows you to operate in a leaner way and with lower costs, giving the entrepreneur the flexibility to choose the solution best suited to their business model.

Minimum Share Capital

Opening a company in the UAE does not require heavy upfront investments. The minimum share capital is often purely nominal and does not actually need to be paid in, allowing entrepreneurs and professionals to start their business without tying up significant financial resources.

No Obligation for a Physical Office

Authorities allow companies to be opened with a virtual registered office or with access to shared spaces within Free Zones, without the obligation to rent a physical office. This significantly reduces fixed costs and offers maximum flexibility, especially for those operating digitally or internationally.

Maximum Security and Stability

The United Arab Emirates are recognized as one of the safest and most stable countries globally, both politically and economically. The modern legal system and the strength of the banking sector ensure an ideal environment for protecting both personal and business assets.

Climate and Quality of Life

Dubai offers a warm climate all year round and a high quality of life, with modern infrastructure, international-level healthcare, and premium services. This makes relocation not only a strategic business choice, but also an upgrade in personal and family lifestyle.

International Environment and Networking Opportunities

With over 200 resident nationalities and a highly multicultural environment, Dubai is a perfect international hub for expanding your network. Events, trade fairs, conferences, and professional communities create unique synergies and open the door to global markets.

World-Class Services and Infrastructure

From banking to telecommunications, from transport to coworking spaces, the UAE offers top-tier services and infrastructure designed to support business. Some of the world’s most modern airports, advanced logistics, and strong digital connectivity make Dubai a strategic reference point for international entrepreneurship.

Frequently asked questions

Can I open a company in Dubai even if I live in another country?

Yes, it is possible to start a company in Dubai without relocating immediately, as most of the process can be handled remotely.

However, to fully benefit from the UAE’s tax advantages, it is important to evaluate the transfer of your tax residence. Otherwise, your personal income may remain subject to taxation in your home country.

What advantages does Dubai offer compared to other countries?

Dubai is an international business hub that attracts entrepreneurs from all over the world. Some of the most common advantages include:

  • No personal income tax for those who are tax residents;
  • Corporate tax of 0% up to 375,000 AED in profit (approximately €93,000), then 9%;
  • VAT at 5% (not applicable to exports);
  • Reduced bureaucracy and digitalized processes;
  • A stable, safe, and multicultural environment;
  • The possibility to apply for residence visas (only with certain types of licenses).
What documents are required to set up the company?

In most cases, the following are sufficient:

  • A valid passport;
  • A passport-size photo;
  • An email address.
How long does it take to open a company?

Generally, 5–10 working days from the moment the complete documentation is submitted.

What costs should I consider?

Expenses are mainly divided into:

  • Government fees → mandatory Free Zone, license, visa quota, and immigration costs;
  • Support services → assistance with paperwork, visas, and bank account opening.
Does the company entitle me to a residence visa?

Not all of them. Only licenses that include visa quotas allow you to apply for residence permits (normally valid for 2 years). The process includes an entry permit, medical examination, and Emirates ID. It is therefore important to choose the right license based on your residency needs.

Can I open a bank account with the company?

Yes, after the license is issued, you can proceed with opening a business account.

Local banks (e.g. Emirates NBD, Mashreq, Wio) and some international banks require specific requirements: generally, the license, company documents, and sometimes a description of the business activity are needed. Not all banks accept the same types of business, so the choice should be evaluated carefully.

What happens if I remain tax resident in my home country?

If you do not transfer your tax residence to the UAE, you will generally continue to pay income tax in your home country on your personal income.

Furthermore, if the company is effectively managed from your home country or carries out its main activities there, it may also be considered tax resident in that country and therefore subject to taxation locally.

It is essential to assess your situation with a qualified advisor in your country of residence to avoid risks of tax residency misclassification and potential double taxation.

Can a Dubai company also operate online?

Yes. Licenses issued in Dubai cover many digital activities: e-commerce, remote consulting, online marketing, IT services, and trading. It is still important that the activity is compatible with what is provided for in the chosen license.
